During our annual meeting we celebrated awards to the following folks:
- Best Paper Award: –“A Comparative Sensitivity Analysis on Intersection Crash Prediction Models by Control Type: Highway Safety Manual Approach” by Seyedehsan Dadvar, Ph.D., Michael A. Dimaiuta, M.S., and –In-Kyu Lim, Ph.D.
- Best Doctoral Student Research: “Spatial Big Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence Applications for Transportation Safety and Network Systems Optimization” by Abdul Rashid Kanda Mussah from the University of Missouri – Columbia.
We also celebrated our chair, Karen Dixon, of 6 years, two with Kim Eckles. We appreciate her commitment and dedication to this group and TRB as a whole.
