The Transportation Research Board invites you to submit an abstract to present at the 4th International /13th National Conference on Access Management. This event promotes idea sharing and showcases practitioner-ready techniques and academic work on the interaction between transportation and land use. The principle aim of this community-of-practice is to create safer, smarter, more efficient, more equitable, more resilient, and more sustainable connections to the transportation system. Attendees will include staff from transportation agencies from all levels of government, metropolitan and regional planning organizations, academia, the legal profession, and the commercial real estate owner and developer community.
The 2024 theme is Access Management: Safety and Design from the Curb to the Interchange for All Users. Please submit papers and presentations that address connecting private property to public roadways, activity centers, and people to place in the areas of:
- design
- safety
- land use
- law
Please propose sessions that present practical and innovative approaches as well as encourage interactive, peer-to-peer engagement. This in-person conference will be held in Boston, MA, from June 24-26, 2024.
